October-November 2019: ''Animalia'', a solo exhibition at Jane's Art Gallery, 199 Downing Street, New Smyrna Beach, Florida

From December 2017 to  January 2018: Solo Exhibition of a Still Life series at the Cinematique of Daytona Beach (Florida)

From July 10th to August 10th 2016: Group exhibition,  “Figuratively Speaking”, at the Art League of Daytona Beach (Florida). Nicolas exhibits ''Guruji''  (portrait of Yoga Master from India) A Celebration of the Spirit and Diversity of The Human Form.

MUSEUM EXPERIENCES:

-March 2020: Nicolas was invited to participate in the 35x35 art project by the Copelouzos Family Art Museum, a privately owned contemporary art Museum based in Athens, Greece. His piece will become part of the museum's permanent collection and will be published as part of a book on the project.

The museum is a private contemporary art museum based in Athens, Greece, owned by Dimitris Copelouzos’ family. Its collection contains a significant number of art works created by established, and also emerging contemporary artists, covering different art movements (pop art, figurative, abstract, etc.). The collection contains art works created by artists from Europe (e.g. Hirst, Leger), USA (e.g. Lichtenstein, Wesselmann, Rauschenberg), Latin America (e.g. Botero, Matta) and Asia (e.g. Yayoi Kusama, Zhang Xiaogang).

April 4th 2019: Nicolas was selected to  present ''Sandhill Crane Triptych'' and ''Queen of the Night'', at Orlando Museum of Art (OMA) First Thursday of the Month Art Event.

Theme of the month: Florida grown. Nicolas received an ''Honorable Mention'', for his submission.

CAREER

2016: Nicolas an his wife Elodie start their Private Art Studio,  L' Atelier d'Esther, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. There they both create Contemporary Original Artworks, and also offer their skills and expertise in Decorative Painting and Murals.

 

 

2007: Self-present: self employed

  • Leading 3 houses restoration and decoration projects in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

  • Working on houses restorations  projects in Winter Park, Florida. 

 

 

1997-2006 : Independent Artist Muralist

  • Some clients like having custom murals painted within the rooms of their homes and therefore require his expertise as a muralist rather than a typical interior designer

  • Has completed multiple inspiring large-scale murals on private residences as well as commercial retail.

  • Techniques used : a fresco, faux finish, and fine art painting.
